Aluminum flanges are typically available in Class 150 and Class 300 pressure ratings per ASME B16.5, suitable for low to moderate pressure applications.
Aluminum flanges perform best below 400 degrees F. Above that threshold, aluminum loses significant tensile strength and alternative materials should be considered.
